Palmyra Middle School Recognizes Award Winners
PALMYRA, Mo. — Palmyra Middle School recognized students and staff members for academic achievement, leadership, citizenship and attendance during its end-of-year awards program.
Students of the Year were Sarah Pontius and Blake Weaver for fifth grade, Shepherd Breitling and Avery Campbell for sixth grade, Jaedyn Bock and Miles Fix for seventh grade, and Laney Weaver and Mason Jones for eighth grade.
Allison Reeder was named Staff Member of the Year.
Principal’s Awards were presented to Emma Dorsey, fifth grade; Avery Campbell, sixth grade; Josiah Thang, seventh grade; and Noah Damron, eighth grade.
Leadership Awards went to Sarah Pontius and Blake Weaver in fifth grade, Macey Thrower and Nash Johnson in sixth grade, Tayleigh Robertson and Colt Swisher in seventh grade, and Renzie McKinney and Mason Jones in eighth grade.
Citizenship Awards were presented to Bianca Speckhart and Keegan Lane in fifth grade, Regan Wible and Noah Creech in sixth grade, Myra Debauch and Grant Scifres in seventh grade, and Lola West and Grady Despres in eighth grade.
Perfect attendance awards were given to fifth-graders Gavin Snodgrass, Matthew Maravillas, Levi Poole, Max Jones, Gunnar Huber and Everett Bigelow.
Cooper Mannigel received the sixth-grade perfect attendance award, and Noah Damron received the eighth-grade perfect attendance award. No seventh-grade perfect attendance awards were listed.
