Sheppard, Augspurg Medal at State for Palmyra

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Palmyra earned three all-state medals at the MSHSAA Class 2 state track and field meet May 22-23 at Jefferson City High School.

Luke Sheppard medaled in both hurdle events for the Panthers. Sheppard placed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.71 seconds after qualifying through preliminaries with a time of 15.64. He also finished seventh in the 300-meter hurdles, running 41.34 seconds in the finals after posting a preliminary time of 41.66.

Kason Augspurg added another medal for Palmyra in the boys javelin, placing fourth with a throw of 49.53 meters.
