Milan Perfect, Green City Has One Defective Bus in Annual Inspections
MILAN — Milan C-2 earned a perfect rating, while Green City R-I had one bus listed as defective during the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 2026 annual school bus inspection program.
Milan presented 12 buses for inspection, and all 12 were approved during the initial inspection. No Milan buses were listed as defective or placed out of service.
Green City presented 10 buses for inspection. Nine buses, or 90 percent, were approved on initial inspection, while one bus, or 10 percent, was listed as defective. No Green City buses were placed out of service.
Buses with defective components must be repaired within 10 days. Any bus placed out of service must be repaired, reinspected and returned to service by Patrol personnel before transporting passengers.
The annual inspections are conducted by the Patrol’s Driver and Vehicle Safety Division.
