Miss River City Emma Havey Receives $500 Scholarship at Miss Missouri Competition

MEXICO, Mo. — Emma Havey of Memphis, Missouri, who currently holds the title of Miss River City, was awarded a $500 non-finalist scholarship while competing at the Miss Missouri Scholarship Organization competition held June 10-13 at Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri.

Havey joined outstanding young women from across the state in the annual Miss Missouri and Miss Missouri’s Teen competition, showcasing leadership, talent, communication skills, and community involvement.

Her Community Service Initiative is “Farming For Freedom”.

The Miss Missouri Scholarship Organization is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarship opportunities to young women as they pursue their academic and professional goals. Through participation in the program, contestants have the opportunity to advocate for causes that are important to them, demonstrate their talents and intelligence, and serve as positive role models within their communities.

The organization awards thousands of dollars in scholarships each year, helping participants further their education while developing valuable leadership and communication skills.

Havey represented the River City area with distinction throughout the competition and was recognized for her efforts with the $500 scholarship award.
