Officer Involved Shooting In Kahoka

The following statement was recently released by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office:
On June 22, 2014 at 0119 hours, members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Kahoka Police Department, and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a call of a male subject threatening to take his own life with a gun.
On June 22, 2014 at 0141 hours (1:41 a.m.), a Deputy with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a shooting.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has requested the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control to investigate the incident. No further statements will be given at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
