Chick It Out – KCR-1 Students Hatching Chicks VIDEO

Knox County Elementary School first graders in Mrs. VanDelft’s and Mrs. Trimble’s classes participated in the “Chick It Out” program through the Knox County University of Missouri Extension 4-H program.

Students spend just over three weeks caring for chicken eggs in incubators in their classrooms. On March 11 and 12, 2015, they hatched over two-dozen baby chicks.
