Traffic change to new Northbound Lanes on Route 61 in Clark County this Week

Pending good weather, MoDOT and its contractor, Chester Bross Construction Company, plan to change traffic to the new northbound lanes of Route 61 just south of Wayland on Friday, September 28.  Immediately following this opening, construction crews will close the old lanes of Route 61 for rehabilitation, which will be the future southbound lanes.

MoDOT to Open Route 61 north of Canton Next Week

 Next week, MoDOT plans to open the additional six-mile four-lane section of Route 61 in Lewis County just north of Canton. Pending good weather, on Monday, September 10, motorists will be traveling on a four-lane highway from north of Canton to the Clark County line. Motorists should still expect some roadwork and lane closures as crews continue to work on sections of the highway throughout the month.
