Troop B Officers To Conduct A DWI Saturation In Marion And Ralls Counties During The Month Of January 2013

Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces that sometime during the month of January 2013, Troop B officers will conduct a DWI enforcement operation in Marion and Ralls counties.  During this operation, troopers will focus their attention on selected highways with a goal of detecting intoxicated drivers, hazardous moving violations, speed, and other traffic violations that cause traffic crashes.
“The Patrol is committed to removing intoxicated drivers from our highways,” stated Captain Wilt.  “I would like to urge all motorists to choose a sober designated driver if drinking alcohol is a part of your plans.”

The Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves from all types of hazardous drivers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.  Click it 4 Life !!!
