Kahoka Teen Injured In Sunday Accident

A seventeen year old Kahoka girl was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday night in St. Francisville.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Alyssa Mathes, of Kahoka was seriously injured when she failed to yield while crossing Hwy. 27 in St. Francisville.

Jason Hale, 40, of Alexandria was northbound on Hwy. 27, and struck Mathes in the driver’s side of her vehicle.

Mathes was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy by Air-Evac in serious condition.
