Golf Tournament in Knox County to Benefit Relay For Life
Knox County’s serious golfers as well as the weekend duffers are teaming up to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Golf Championship. This great event offers golfers an opportunity to "chip" in the fight against cancer.

Hannibal HS running back Jacob Saxon scored two touchdowns for the West All-Stars during a 22-14 win for the Missouri and Iowa team.
The West all stars controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football, capturing the third annual KHQA Do or Die Bowl. The high school all star contest was held June 23, 2007 at Quincy.

Michael Long (USRA Modifieds) and Jim Gillenwater (USRA B-Modifieds) picked up back-to-back feature wins, while Matt Greiner (USRA Stock Cars), Bill Gibson (USRA Hobby Stocks), Brandon Symmonds (Outlaw Hobby Stocks) and Codey Phillips (Hornets) claimed feature wins in there divisions.

Parents, coaches and student-athletes gathered on May 31, 2007 for the Knox County R-I MS/HS Spring Activities Award ceremony at the Knox County High School gym.
Middle school and high school track coaches along with baseball and campus bowl coaches presented awards, letters and certificates of participation.
Middle School track coach Craig Miller presented certificates of participation to 32 KCMS track and field athletes along with manager Jamie Adair. High school track coaches Kate Murphy and Ann Murphy presented a long list of awards to a very successful Knox County track team.
